Temperature Sensor RFID Tags
RFID temperature sensing and monitoring tags, used in various applications, such as steel manufacturing, send temperature data to an RFID Reader providing a trigger to alert users when an unsafe condition may exist. For example, passive RFID temperature sensors are applied to assets and signal an alarm should an asset, like a conveyor roller or belt, get too close to unacceptable temperature levels. Passive RFID temperature sensors are an excellent solution for issues with system monitoring processes.
Based on RFID technology, our temperature sensor tags communicate their individual ID number and the temperature data associated with each tag to the RFID reader. Our RFID temperature sensors are made from heat-resistant ceramic, withstanding a range of operating temperatures from -40°F to 302°F (-40°C to 150°C). Our sensors also maintain an Ingress Protection Rating of IP68, meaning no entrance of dust, full protection against contact, and they are suitable for consistent immersion in water under certain conditions or can enter the water to the point no harmful effects occur to the temperature sensor.
