Profibus-DeviceNet-Ethernet IP-Modbus-Remote I/O

Aurora, Colorado - February 2005
RFID, Incorporated, formerly Telsor Corporation, the oldest active RFID company in the world, announces the release of a ground breaking revolutionary family of products to its staple 125 KHz product offering focused on factory automation, process controls and OEM markets. The first and most essential piece to the new product is their Smart Antennas. These are actually both the Reader and Antenna components of an RFID system combined together into several small packages, which operate on CAN, allowing 32 total Smart Antennas to be linked together. All of RFID, Inc.'s current Antenna packages will accept the new Smart Antenna electronics, the smallest measuring approximately 1" in diameter x 4" in length in a proximity switch style housing and another 2" x 2" x 1.6" specifically designed to be mounted on metal. The second piece to the new products are industrial protocol Interfaces. Profibus and TCPIP have already been released. DeviceNet is expected to be released in March, followed by Ethernet IP, Modbus and Discrete I/O Interfaces. "Users will be able to drop 32 small RFID Readers onto a data highway with a single node or directly to a PLC. Demand for these products even without advertising has been overwhelming" expounds Mr. John Martinez, a 10 year veteran in the RFID industry, 5 years with RFID, Inc., and VP Director of Sales Channels. "Further this architecture offers a far more cost effective solution than traditional industrial RFID product offerings." RFID, Inc. is a globally recognized manufacturer and developer of RFID hardware. Please contact info@rfidinc.com or call 877-www-rfid x102 for more information.
