Tuning Capability - A simple tuning knob located on the Reader allows the user to tune Reader range from 3' to 250'.

Directional Capability - A 70 degree focal view allows scanning of one side of a door, gate, or lane of traffic negating erroneous reads.

GPS & Cellular Modem Capabilities - Allows for wireless communications from remote locations as well as location tracking of tagged items.

Typical applications for this product line are personnel, vehicle, and asset identification and tracking. Tags are anti-collision and come in the form of an employee badge with 3-6 year battery life.

Applications
Our Extend-a-Read product is based on 433 MHz active (battery powered) anti-collision (read many simultaneously) Tags. Tags simply emit a data signal every 1.8 to 2.2 seconds which is picked up by the Reader.

Our solutions partner FedTrax combines the power of GPRS (cellular) and RFID Inc's Readers to give you the ability to track and monitor all your mobile assets from any computer connected to the Internet from any remote location. The FedTrax system consists of a rugged RFID reader GPS receiver and wireless modem that transmits accurate data to our FedTrax web server or your own ERP system or web site. Then, authorized users can access the RFID data on any internet-enabled PC
